"(They are) the way the people who have been given favors upon them, not their way of wrath, nor those who are misguided path. (Q 1:7)"
The verse means that people who have been given favors are the ones who have been through a preferred way of life and according to the will of God. If associated with the preceding paragraphs, the way of life, among others: always mention the name of God, loving God with your fellow servant, always praising God, have faith that God is Lord and ruler of all nature in the Hereafter, worship (in the sense of carrying out command, away from the ban, and heed the advice of God) and begged for help only to God, and always ask God guide path.
The verse also implies that when this way of life is above our established, then we get the favor of God, it would be a safety and happiness is relative in this world and eternity in the afterlife.

In the Indonesian language:
"(yaitu) jalan orang-orang yang telah diberi nikmat atas mereka, bukan jalan mereka yang dimurkai, dan bukan pula jalan mereka yang sesat. (Q 1:7)"
Ayat tersebut mengandung arti bahwa orang-orang yang telah diberi nikmat adalah orang -orang yang telah menempuh cara hidup yang disukai dan sesuai dengan kehendak Allah. Jika dikaitkan dengan ayat-ayat sebelumnya, maka cara hidup tersebut antara lain: senantiasa menyebut nama Allah, penuh kasih sayang dengan sesama hamba Allah, senantiasa memuji Allah, beriman bahwa Allah adalah Tuhan seluruh alam dan penguasa pada Hari Kemudian, menyembah (dalam arti melaksanakan perintah, menjauhi larangan, dan mengindahkan anjuran dari Allah) dan memohon pertolongan hanya kepada Allah, dan senantiasa memohon kepada Allah petunjuk jalan yang lurus.
